Earlier this summer Lido and I had so much fun photographing Amy and Greg’s Hyalite Reservoir wedding in Bozeman, Montana. This pair has fantastic taste and it came through in every detail of their camp themed wedding. From the table settings to the invitations and everything in between — you could feel the love and attention they brought to their celebration. And even though it literally rained monsoon-style during the ceremony — they looked gorgeous the entire time. Congrats you two! We are so, so happy for you both.

The holidays are done! The new year is here! At Cou Cou Studio we are starting to book up our calendar with work and travel and of course — weddings! Some people just radiate happiness. That’s the case with Julie Rae and Bernie. These two met Jessica for an afternoon in the fall sunshine.
It’s so nice to look back and remember how warm the sun was while it is a snowy mess outside right now. Thanks Julie and Bernie for such a lovely afternoon. Ya’ll are the best.
Seeley Lake made for a gorgeous background for photographing Allison and Dru’s wedding this year. With a wedding ceremony conducted by the groom’s sister, tunes from The Lil’ Smokies, and a table full of whiskey, their celebration was a blast! We had such a fun time spending the day with these two and their friends and family as they celebrated late into the night under a bright, Montana moon.
Thanks so much for having us there to document all the fun and celebration. We had such a great time!
Fall means family portrait time for Cou Cou Studio. Jessica headed up to Whitefish this fall to do some photos with Monica Pastor and her family and friends. It was great follow up to the photographs Jessica did a couple years back of Monica and Teague. This time there were more loved ones in tow and the fall colors were in full bloom.
It is such a great call when a client who you’ve photographed before rings again. Kari and her adorable crew were photographed by Jessica a couple years ago. The boys have gotten so much bigger and this time Jess took the whole crew out to Glacier National Park for family portraits. They were just in time for the bright oranges and yellows of fall — you can’t beat that on Lake McDonald. Thanks guys for being such a sweet family. You kept your photographer laughing the whole time. What a blast. :)

Sometimes there are events that are truly something special because of the people that are there. It could be anywhere — by a river, a family homestead, or even a luxury resort. The point is that while the location may be beautiful it’s really who’s there together that makes it something special. Eric and Stacy’s wedding in Greenough, Montana was one of those kinds of events. Each person we chatted with between taking photos was so genuinely nice. You could just feel the love everyone had for each other and the bride and groom. I think Lido and I can both agree it feels like we hit the jackpot when we photograph these kinds of events.
A beautiful ceremony and reception in the Lubrecht Forest in Greenough, Montana went off without a hitch despite unusually cool temperatures for this summer day. A couple rain drops didn’t dampen anyone’s festivities. In fact — it seemed all the more beautiful.
